Get ready. Go. Stay a while.
A mobile travel planner that turns each trip into a timeline — every way you travel, every stay, and everything you experience, pinned to a 3D globe, exactly where it belongs. Plan it, live it, relive it.
The name
In Hawaiian, liuliu means to get ready — to prepare. Its close cousin liʻuliʻu means to linger, to spend a long time somewhere.
That's the whole of travel: the getting ready, and the staying a while. The app is named for both.
Globe
Pinned exactly where it belongs.
Every place in a trip lands on a 3D globe, exactly where it belongs — zoom from the whole planet down to the street corner. Not a list of names. The actual map of your trip.
The globe, zoomed to a single street.
A day in the timeline, grouped by city.
Timeline
Travel. Stay. Do.
Each trip becomes a timeline of events — flights and trains, check-ins and check-outs, the restaurants and museums and viewpoints in between. Days group on their own, and every day knows which city you're in. Between cities, it just says “In transit.”
Cover photos
Make every trip look like itself.
Give each trip a cover — search Unsplash or pull a shot from your own camera roll. Light or dark, your trips look the way they feel.
A trip cover, straight from your camera roll.
Watch a trip come together — plan, pin, replay.
How it works
- 1
Plan the trip
Start a trip, give it a cover photo and a color.
- 2
Add your events
How you travel, where you stay, what you do — each with a spot on the map.
- 3
Walk it back
Read it as a timeline or fly the globe. Offline too, when you're far from signal.
Why it exists
Photos pile up, the order blurs, the small places slip away.
So a traveler who'd been to 50+ countries built liuliu — to relive trips place by place, not just list them. Made for people who travel the same way.
